Connect FoodX to your assistant
Talk to your own FoodX from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
The address
https://mcp.foodx.network/mcp
It is a remote MCP server (Model Context Protocol, the standard way an assistant reaches a service). It signs you in with OAuth, so you never paste a key.
Connect
- ChatGPT: Settings, Apps (or Connectors), add a custom connector, paste the address.
- Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, paste the address.
- Gemini: add it as a remote MCP server where your Gemini client supports it, with the same address.
- Your assistant opens a FoodX page. Choose Continue with Google. Google shows exactly what you allow. Approve.
What you allow
- Sign-in: your name and email, so we know whose FoodX it is.
- Optional, only if you tick them: read-only access to Gmail and to Calendar events, so FoodX can find your orders, receipts and bookings. FoodX never sends, changes or deletes anything in your Google account.
The tools
ask_my_foodos: ask your own FoodX anything about your food record in plain words.find: look for offers, things and people by what you want and where.read: read one block, promise or draft and say where it stands.
What it can and cannot do
- It can answer from your record and search public offers.
- When something would be sent to another person, it makes a draft. You read the exact words on a FoodX page and tap to send. Nothing leaves without your tap.
- It cannot hold or move money, message strangers on its own, or message anyone who said STOP.
- It cannot see another person's record.
Your data
The assistant sees only what each tool returns. We do not sell your data, show ads, or train AI models on it. Google data is used under the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use rules. Read the full privacy policy.
Revoke
Open mcp.foodx.network/account, sign in, and press revoke next to the assistant. It stops working at once. You can also remove FoodX at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
